At the end (of)

At the end

The book has exercises at the end of every chapter.
The punctuation at the end of this sentence is a period.

at the end of the day

something that you say before you give the most important fact of a situation:
Of course I’ll listen to what she has to say but at the end of the day, it’s my decision.

at the end of your tether/rope

having no strength or patience left:

By six o’clock after a busy day I’m at the end of my tether.

By the end (of)

In the end

In the end,相当于“finally”,最终。
